Why is there a KYC verification?

Can I upload a photo instead of taking a selfie?
A photo will not pass KYC validation. It is absolutely necessary to provide a live selfie.
Why is my KYC verification pending?
In some cases, the automatic verification system cannot automatically extract all the data (selfie, scan) that you have uploaded. The Compliance department will have to process the documents manually, which will lengthen the validation time of your account. This KYC verification can take up to 3 days.
Why is my proof of identity rejected?
These are the reasons that may invalidate your proof of identity:
DNI (or other document).
Your ID is expired.
The expiration date on the identity card is missing.
Scan quality is not good enough.
The scan is blurry.
The scan has a reflection.
